Structural reinforcements obtained from the impregnation of special glass, carbon and Kevlar fiber networks, for incorporations both in the field of composite materials and civil structures.

The definition of REINFORCEMENT involves the primary need to increase the mechanical characteristics of a material. In particular buildings, for example, compliance with previous versions of Building Regulations has led to the creation of structures not suitable for intense and unexpected phenomena such as earthquakes.
The possibility of using highly performing materials in terms of mechanical resistance and lightness has made it possible to design and begin an important seismic adaptation operation of the existing building heritage, generating a sense of greater trust and therefore a better perception of safety.
CONDOR has developed AR FIBERGLASS reinforcements which allow the creation of particular reinforcement layers for walls of various types, significantly increasing the resistance to jolting or oscillatory stresses typical of earthquakes.
The use of particular Alkali Resistant fibers guarantees the durability of the reinforcement, while the composite nature of the reinforcement allows the root cause of the problem of corrosion of the reinforcement to be eliminated, without the need to apply thick layers of concrete cover which would cause a significant increase structural of existing foundations especially in the case of multi-storey buildings.

Open reticular reinforcement

Attention to customer needs has always pushed CONDORDIELETRIC to develop materials capable of satisfying the most stringent needs in terms of performance and cost. In industry it is often necessary to reinforce elements made by casting thermoplastic or thermosetting masses which could be susceptible to cracking phenomena due to very aggressive thermal cycles, very high mechanical stresses, particular more or less continuous vibrational stresses. This range of reinforcements was created for specific requests of the polyurethane industry and represents a formidable possibility of stiffening and increasing the thermal performance of the pieces made.

The civil industry requires increasingly lighter and more performing materials for the redevelopment of the building heritage and a further fundamental characteristic is represented by the durability of the materials and of the intervention carried out. For these reasons, CONDOR has carried out in-depth studies and developments with the aim of being able to offer specific reinforcements on the national and international scene for stiffening and strengthening applications of simple and complex civil buildings where lightness and high durability represent an indispensable requirement.

Fenolic continuous consolidated laminate

For particular applications it is possible to create and/or further customize particular consolidated continuous laminates based on multifibre fabrics and thermosetting resins such as typically phenolic resins and/or epoxy resins.
In addition to a wide range of fabrics, special 2, 3 and 4 axis multi-axial supports have also been added, available in multiple weights and completely customizable depending on the required application.
