The term Prepregs refers to all those fabrics pre-impregnated with resins.
These fabrics (which can be unidirectional, balanced, multiaxial, etc.) represent the structural element capable of supporting the applied resin, and can be obtained from the weaving of glass fiber, cotton fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, available in different types of weave (for example Canvas, Twill, Satin etc …).
Equally customizable is the world of resins which, with ad hoc formulations developed over 50 years of experience and professionalism, have allowed us to become market leaders and expert technological consultants on the use of pre-impregnated products in the world of composite materials and electrical insulators.

Pre-preg for composites
In the composite materials sector it is essential to be able to have specific models for every need. The HE line is highly appreciated for its high mechanical qualities associated with excellent aesthetic performance of the resin system.
For special applications with considerable thermal stress we have specific versions that allow us to guarantee TG even above 200°C.
The continuous evolutions of the market allow us to adapt and improve all standard formulations, trying to satisfy the most stringent requirements of each individual customer.
Pre-preg for Honeycomb panels
When the technical applications are highly complex, CONDORDIELETRIC relies heavily on experience and on the Research & Development Team that constantly works to serve customers and special productions. In the production sector of lightweight panels, particular performances of adhesion and mechanical resistance are required and, precisely with our dedicated line of pre-preg, we can guarantee very high peeling values, high thermal resistance and high durability of the materials even if exposed to atmospheric agents severe.
These main properties can be further enriched with the aim of satisfying particularly severe requests on special applications, for example for applications on very tall buildings, for applications on means of transport such as TRAINS, PLANES, SHIPS etc..
Pre-preg hard no tacky
In the industrial sector, types of pre-preg are often required which offer the possibility of creating simple shaped elements but minimizing production time. In many cases, the possibility of using a no tacky pre-preg allows you to manage storage, handling, preparation by cutting the components and the subsequent assembly phase more simply. Once the molding production cycle has been completed, the piece will be managed like any composite element, thus being able to accumulate an operational advantage on all the preliminary phases listed above.
